Keto breakfast cereal - as grandpa used to say - needs to stick to your ribs. It is also a real plus if it tastes good. This recipe brings back fond memories of Wheatena. You could go all day on this stuff. Try it with bulletproof coffee.
In a cereal bowl, Soak chia seeds in water for 10 to 15 minutes ( until they gel)
Add hemp hearts and cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Stir in almond milk until well mixed
Microwave on full power for 1 minute.
Remove and stir microwave for another 30 seconds.
If you would like it a little sweet, add a teaspoon of swerveI like cinnamon, so I add extra. Some blueberries or pecans might also be nice.You may want to substitute coconut oil for the butter. I am sure that would also be delicious.
